Braxton Bokos of Oak Brook, Illinois is no ordinary 14 year old when it comes to the Sport of Triathlon. Even though he is only 14 years old and should be racing the youth events, he has stepped it up and has been racing with adults since he was 8. One of his first accomplishments was being the youngest one to ever finish an Olympic distance Triathlon, "Leon's Worlds Fastest Triathlon" at age 9. Fast forward 5 years, and Brax has won overall finisher at Pleasant Prairie Triathlon in June.

Last year Braxton set out to conquer Chicago Triathlon's first-ever “QUAD” competition, which included the Chicago Kids Tri + Triple Challenge racing over 64.09 total miles race weekend! His journey took place August 25th and 26th,2017 in beautiful scenic Downtown Chicago, swimming in Lake Michigan, biking on the iconic Lake Shore Drive, and running on the energetic pathways leading him to the finish near Buckingham Fountain. The Saturday race consisted of the Kids Tri followed by the Super Sprint. Sunday he raced the Olympic followed by the Sprint. Although completing the distance, unfortunately he was disqualified in the kids event due to a technicality assist for a tire blowout.

He is at it again, and along with racing he is doing it for Dare2Tri.  Along with this he is in hopes for the title of Youngest to ever compete/finish in the Chicago QUAD. Training has begun and he has his eyes on that finish line.

Your donations to Dare2Tri will give him the added motivation to finish this Event and support this worthy cause.

Thank you to his supporters throughout his journey.
